How do solar window tints work?
The Sun release energy in three main radiation types (UV) ultraviolet, Visible light and (IR) infrared these all have different wavelengths.
To put it simply the metalized, polyester and resin layers in window tint are designed to block as much of the UV and IR wavelength energy whilst still letting in visible light so that your house maintains a natural light feeling.
