How is house / office window tint different to automotive tint?
House and office tint generally has a slightly different construction as house tint doesn’t have to be heat moulded to the window. The main difference however is the glue. Automotive tinting uses a pressure sensitive adhesive similar to that on sticky tape, while house and office tinting uses a dry adhesive which is activated by the application solution used when fitting the film. Generally house and office tints are much more stable than that of automotive film and usually have a longer life.
